Monthly visitor of the Log House - The Nashville Old-time String Band Association
Renting the Buchanan Log House and grounds offers a unique opportunity to experience an authentic piece of Nashville history. With access to the original home, individual rooms, and over an acre and a half of beautiful land, your event will be set in a historic and scenic environment. Whether you're planning a wedding, hosting a meeting, or even holding band practice, the Buchanan Log House provides the perfect setting for any occasion.

One of the best parts of having your wedding/celebration/event with us is the feeling of family, history, and tradition. The long history of this home and grounds lend an air of romance,

Buchanan Log House welcomes the opportunity to host a memorable wedding, birthday party, corporate event, promo photos or meeting for you on our beautiful grounds.
​
1. Buchanan Log House hosts both public and private events throughout the year, so we recommend you contact us as soon as possible about availability for your event. Beginning in 2023, we do charge an additional 25% for rentals occurring on a holiday.
​
2. ​Being a national historic landmark brings some unique aspects. We know you and your guests will enjoy our beautiful historical site, and only ask that you do so with respect.
​
Although there is limited seating for indoor weddings, depending on size of wedding party, an outdoor wedding in the backyard can seat up to 150 guests.
​
Our packages offer options to work with your own caterer. Plus, we can connect you with vendors that have been used by other events at our property.
